Audi strengthens presence in Malaysia, with more models and improved programmes for customer satisfaction
The appointment of PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) as Audi's official distributor in Malaysia is creating a buzz as the wholly owned subsidiary by European automotive specialist Porsche Holding Salzburg (PHS) is representing the wholesale, marketing and aftersales for the Audi in the country.
PHS is part of Volkswagen Group and the largest and most successful automotive distributors in Europe. The Salzburg-based company (Austria) was founded in 1947 and operates today in 29 markets in Europe, China, Japan, South America and South-East Asia, employing 39,000 people worldwide.
"We are fully committed and excited to progress the Audi brand in Malaysia. Our focus is on strengthening the SUV, S line and quattro range, with electrification playing a major role in the Company's roadmap here,'' said Erik Winter, Managing Director of PHSAM.
Malaysians can also expect Audi's electric vehicle range, with several models from its iconic e-tron series, to be available soon.
In addition to expanding the product line up, Audi Malaysia is prioritising aftersales services and strengthening the existing dealer network to improve customer satisfaction and the ownership experience. Various after sales campaigns and programmes have been rolled out since PHSAM's appointment.
Audi Centres are currently located in Glenmarie, Setia Alam and Juru, with an authorise Service Centre in Ipoh.
